Kambaii Health Wellness App (“we,” “our,” or “us”) is committed to safeguarding your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information when you use our mobile application (“App”). Please review this Policy carefully. If you disagree with its terms, refrain from accessing or using the App.

2a. Use of FOREGROUND_SERVICE Permission

Our App requires the Android FOREGROUND_SERVICE permission only for critical, user-initiated, and perceptible functionality.

Declared Foreground Service Types

We declare and use the following foreground service types in compliance with Google Play policies:

• Health & Fitness Tracking (Location/Activity type): When a user starts a workout or activity session, the foreground service ensures uninterrupted tracking.
• Medication Reminders (Alarm/Notification type): When a user enables reminders, the foreground service ensures timely alerts are delivered.

We do not declare or use foreground services for non-critical tasks such as passive media playback or background operations that can be deferred without material user impact.

User Awareness & Material Impact

• Foreground services are always initiated by the user (e.g., starting a workout, enabling reminders).
• Foreground services are always perceptible to the user via persistent notifications.
• If a service is interrupted or deferred, it would materially impact the user’s health and fitness experience (e.g., loss of workout tracking data, missed medication alerts).
• Non-critical tasks are handled without foreground services to avoid unnecessary permission use.

Transparency & Safeguards

• Foreground service usage is accurately declared in the Play Console with the correct service type.
• Users are notified whenever a foreground service is active.
• Foreground services terminate when the user stops the activity or disables reminders.
• We do not use foreground services for advertising, hidden background tasks, or unrelated data collection.

Health Connect Integration

Our app integrates with Health Connect only for essential features such as workout tracking and medication reminders. We do NOT collect, use, or request data related to the following permissions, as they are not required for the current functionality of the app:

6. Updates to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated periodically to reflect changes in our practices, legal requirements, or technical needs such as permissions required by the App. Updated versions will include a new "Effective Date" and will be posted here.
